Description du projet de startup

Cell Tereo offers patented cryopreservation technology that shields biological samples against harmful radiation during long-term storage. This includes specialized radiation shielded cryostats and radiation detection services to maintain the integrity and viability of preserved materials. Located at Station F, our technology is built on pioneering research conducted in collaboration with CNRS.

Supported by: SATT Linksium Grenoble Alpes & Station F, Paris.

Why Join Us?

As CTO at Cell Tereo, you will be at the heart of a technological adventure aimed at developing advanced radiation measurement services to prepare the next generation of cryogenic systems designed to preserve biological materials, with unprecedented stability, viability and safety.

This is more than a CTO role — it’s a rare opportunity to help pioneer a first-in-market solution with real impact on biomedical research and biobanking.

Description de l'offre

We're seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to spearhead the development of our cutting-edge technologies at the intersection of radiation physics and cryogenic engineering.

With a strong background in radiation physics or both domains, you will lead the design and deployment of advanced radiation measurement services tailored for biobank environments.

If you thrive on solving complex physical challenges and transforming deep science into real-world tools, you'll feel right at home. Join us to lead a team that's pushing the boundaries of what's possible in cryogenics and radiation detection solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Service Development: Develop and launch low level radiation detection and consulting services for biobanks, implementing precision radiation measurement methodologies and customized shielding recommendations.

Measurement & Validation: Conduct simulations, and perform on-site radiation measurement to ensure regulatory compliance.

Radiation Physics Expertise: : Apply in-depth knowledge in radiation physics to optimize shielding materials and build a comprehensive radiation protection strategy.

Collaboration & Partnerships: Collaborate with research institutions like CNRS to refine radiation measurement techniques and cryostat shielding, supporting both product and service offerings.

Innovation & IP Strategy: Build and manage the IP portfolio by filing patents for proprietary shielding technology and developing simulation models, contributing to Cell Tereo’s unique market advantage.

Team Building: Recruit and guide an engineering team skilled in radiation measurement, cryogenic technology, and product design.

 Compensation:

You'll join Cell Tereo as a co-founder and corporate officer, playing a key role in shaping both the technology and the company’s strategic direction. At this early stage, the position does not come with immediate financial compensation; your remuneration will be activated upon securing funding that ensures executive salaries.

Equity participation is offered, with the opportunity to become a shareholder from the outset and actively contribute to the creation of long-term value.

Description du profil

Qualifications

Academic Background: Engineer or PhD in nuclear physics, nuclear engineering, or related field, with knowledge in  radiation measurement and/or radioprotection.

Experience: 5+ years in a technical role focused on radiation protection, cryogenics, or cryostat development (optional), ideally within a startup or R&D-intensive environment.

Skills: Proficiency in radiation measurement technologies, simulation tools (e.g., MCNP, MATLAB) and CAD design development (optional).

Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment and willingness to self-fund until the pre-seed round closes.
