- · Breaking news : In November 2021, European Parliament decided to boost Europe’s strategic autonomy and resilience regarding the supply of Critical Raw Materials, by creating a secondary market for recycled resources containing these materials.
- · Critical Materials French Champion : Being awarded by the French Recovery Fund, MagREEsource is positioned as one of the French Champion to secure and diversify the European Rare Earths magnet supply chain.
- · World class leaders : Several POC are ongoing with European carmakers and leaders of the Defense industry in order to supply customized and sustainable technological alternatives to these scarce materials.
Technology
MagREEsource encapsulates 30-year of R&D at the Institut Neel - CNRS that led to IP in hydrogen selective interactions with Rare Earths based materials. Created in 2020, with 6 engineers and PhD with complementary profiles with high scientific, industrial and business records. Based on patented technologies in short loop recycling and additive manufacturing, the deeptech startup develops manufacturing capabilities to produce 4D printed and high performance sintered magnets.

State of progress
Our ambition is to set up the first 500 tons magnet production unit within 4 years to start addressing premium markets like Defense & Aeronautics or robotics, and become European leader in magnet manufacturing.
