The evaluation of the balance between risk and return on a financial investment is the cornerstone of investment advice (savings advice). It is a regulatory obligation throughout the world. This key stage of advice is called investor profiling. This should be an excellent medium to help advisers coach their clients. It is currently a major constraint for all financial establishments. The evaluation is carried out using totally unsuitable questionnaires. This is an enormous administrative workload, resulting in a bad client experience, and above all this makes it impossible to identify the most important aspect: the emotional dimension of risk sensitivity.

Odonatech is a fintech. We are developing a suite of gamified applications. Our algorithms use behavioural finance and artificial intelligence techniques. Behavioural finance is a recent science, a combination of finance and psychology. Our technologies use techniques developed by two recent Nobel prize winners: Kahneman’s Prospect theory (Nobel 2002) and Thaler’s Nudge theory (Nobel 2017)

We have formed a 5-person team. We have developed a technical proof of concept and a mock-up of the software. We have concluded an initial co-development agreement with a large French banking group.

We are developing gamified applications that use Behavioural Finance and Artificial Intelligence algorithms. They enable financial advisors to become coaches for their clients: diagnosis/profiling, analysis and personalised advice.
